No Plagiarism

Over the past year we have found a few instances of plagiarism; some may have been naive mistakes resulting from a lack of knowledge of the rules of the game, so to speak, whereas others seem to have been more premeditated. All are worth discussing. Let us start by stating the obvious: we publish only original research conducted in the most rigorous manner, with real, rather than invented, data. This self-evident premise serves to acquaint readers with our responsibility to them in publishing only the best research and will be worth remembering when I present some examples that we have seen. We asks authors to state, when they submit a paper that all the material is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not being reviewed by another journal. But as far as we are concerned, the breach of faith has occurred even when authors plagiarize their own work. The fundamental problem is that of originality. Why is academic integrity so important? We value integrity because the entire scholarly enterprise is balanced on the assumption that we can trust one another. Imagine what it would be like to open a book or a conference proceeding or a music score and have even a fleeting concern about whether the compiled work is misrepresented. It would not be possible to do scholarship in that environment. Our trust in the advancing edge of our disciplines depends upon our complete trust in one another's honours. The prohibition of plagiarism is not unique if the expression of an idea is recorded in any way or fixed in some medium — such as a piece of writing, drawing, photograph, painting, or web page — it is considered intellectual property and is protected by U.S. Copyright Law. To plagiarize is to steal the property of someone else, a blatant infringement of the law.

Authors are informed that IJIFR have zero tolerance towards plagiarised articles, articles will be summarily rejected and will not be processed further if found plagiarised. Hence authors are informed to follow ethical publishing policies and submit articles which are free from plagiarism. We use Crosscheck to detect plagiarism which is one of the best methods available to detect academic plagiarism; articles free from plagiarism only will be considered for publication. The authors shall be responsible for any claim on plagiarism in their manuscripts. The manuscript shall be removed immediately if any plagiarism found without any notice or warning. The Journal reserves the right to remove any manuscript from any issue in case of any infringement of Intellectual Property Rights or Information Hiding. In the scenario of plagiarism, the authors shall be responsible for any legal claim or compensation.
